Brie & Pepper Jelly Wonton Bites

Crispy, golden wonton cups filled with creamy melted Brie and sweet, spicy pepper jelly. An easy, bite-sized appetizer that's perfect for game day!

25–30 minutes

Makes 24 bites

350°F

Ingredients

  • 24 square wonton wrappers

  • 8 oz Brie cheese

  • ⅓ cup red pepper jelly, plus more as needed

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • ¼ cup finely chopped pecans (optional)

  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish

  • Flaky sea salt, for finishing (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven. Preheat to 350°F. Lightly grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin with cooking spray or melted butter.

2. Prepare the wonton cups. Gently press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, allowing the corners to stick up. Lightly brush the exposed edges with melted butter.

3. Par-bake the wrappers. Bake for 5–6 minutes, until the edges are just beginning to turn golden but aren't fully browned.

4. Add the Brie. Cut the Brie into 24 small pieces, approximately ⅓ oz each. You can leave the rind on! Place one piece inside each wonton cup.

5. Add the pepper jelly. Spoon approximately ½–¾ teaspoon pepper jelly over each piece of Brie.

6. Bake. Return to the oven for another 5–8 minutes, until the Brie is softened and melted and the wonton edges are golden and crispy.

7. Finish. Let cool for 2–3 minutes before carefully removing from the tin. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, fresh thyme, and a tiny pinch of flaky salt, if desired.
