So I wanted to start this series that will take you through some of my personal favorite recipes to share with the people I love. Below, you’ll find recipes that look impressive but are way easier than you’d think!!
Lemon Posset
Lemon Posset is one of my absolute favorite desserts to make for guests and it is by far the most requested as well! It is creamy, lemony, fresh, and comes together in only about 15 minutes of active cooking time. It is also an amazing dessert to make ahead of time. I always recommend making as much food as possible in advance. This will allow you to keep a fun menu while also keeping your sanity!!
Homemade Lemon Custard Ice Cream Served In A Lemon Cup
Custard ice cream is another one of those make-ahead desserts that is SO simple!! Plus, you can easily make a big batch to always be ready for when guests come. Ice cream is made with pantry staples and once you have a great base recipe, you can add so many amazing mix ins. This Lemon Custard Ice Cream served in a lemon cup is such a fun way to serve your guests!! This ice cream is thick, creamy, and sooo fresh!!
Peach Crumble
Any type of fruit crumble is truly one of the simplest ways to serve dessert to guests!! It is also such an amazing way to get rid of excess produce without letting it go bad. I love to substitute the peaces in this recipe for apples, strawberries and more!! All you need for this crumble is some peaches, brown sugar, and a couple of pantry staples like a dash of flour. The brown sugar caramelizes with the peaches and you get the most gooey center!! The crumble on top is the perfect touch! I love to top a good crumble with some vanilla ice cream. If you don’t like baking, you will love to create crumbles!!! They only take about 15 minutes of active time and are so so simple to make!
Hydrangea Cupcakes
For these beauties all you need is your favorite boxed cupcake mix and NO piping skills!!! It may take you a second or two to learn this very simple piping technique but I promise you, you can do it!! These are the cutest cupcakes for baby showers, bridal showers, and more!! I had them at my garden themed wedding celebration! They are a huge hit and just adorable!!
Lemon Blondies
These soft and chewy lemon blondies are bright, buttery, and packed with fresh lemon flavor, with creamy white chocolate folded into every bite. They’re sweet, a little tangy, and the perfect easy treat for spring and summer!
I hope you love all of these recipes!! Keep them in your back pocket for when it’s time to host!
